Abstract
This article covers some the main milestones of the theological itinerary of John Henry Newman in his historical evolution, framing his decision to convert to Catholicism, his research and his pastoral ministry in a set that evidences the necessary links between dogmatic precisions and vital decisions that are articulated and consolidated.
